Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.

Laguna Hills is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Laguna Hills follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We recently visited Pizza 900 in Laguna Hills and ordered the Grande Edo Siciliana Pizza (#8), the Nooo Wayyy Pizza (#1720), and an order of French Fries. The pizzas had a nice crispy wood-fired crust, fresh ingredients, and generous toppings. However, both pizzas were much oilier than we expected, which took away from the overall flavor. We specifically requested jalapeΓ±o on only half of the Grande Edo Siciliana Pizza, but the entire pizza came with jalapeΓ±os instead. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was disappointing since it was a simple customization. The French fries were crispy and well-seasoned, but they were also quite oily. What disappointed us the most was the wait time, we waited about 40 minutes just for the fries to arrive. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and a creative menu with plenty of unique pizza options. Unfortunately, between the long wait, the incorrect customization, and the amount of oil in the food, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. We’d be willing to give it another try in the future, but we hope they pay more attention to special requests and improve the consistency of both the food and the service.

I found this spot on a whim through Yelp or maybe Google, good reviews convinced me to try takeout. I sent my partner to pick up the pizza and garlic Parmesan wings. When she arrived, the pizza was ready, but they totally missed the order. They had to make it on the fly, which added an extra 10 minutes. The owner was really kind and did the right thing, making sure we were taken care of. The pizza was great, and the wings were absolutely amazing, definitely worth the wait!

I am a sucker for a good wood fired pizza and this place did not disappoint! Every pizza was perfectly crafted and the garlic knots were a favorite at the table. The salad was what exactly what I wanted and paired well with the rest of the food. We will be back here next time a pizza craving hits!

First off, being greeted, and treated respectfully is something a lot of establishments lack. My wife and I came back from Rome last month. And let me tell you, THIS PLACE, correction this Pizzeria is absolutely special, it’s on point. If I’m lying I’m flying! Amazing Margherita pizza! The Donfather! Wow! Outside seating area was also clean and really nice! Thank you for having Iced Tea! Being someone who drinks unsweet ice tea everyday, I would like to say the ice tea was the best in 50 miles easily. Thank you for the amazing food and hospitality, will be back to try the rest of the menu!
